I had the opportunity to work with 29 great employees. We were able to take care of the needs of two plants in all aspects of maintenance. I was able to train some of the employees to rebuild the equipment in house and by doing so we reduced the cost by $49,000.00. I was able to take the cost of maintenance from $2,000,000.00 and within six years brought that sum to $255,00.00. I had the opportunity to work with 29 great employees. I had 6 mechanics and between them and myself we were able to keep the companies assets running. I designed and built the Phosphate system that they are currently running. I was able to traing the mechanics on electrical and at the same time I was learning from them in multiple areas. Maintenance was assigned to insure the facility grounds and buildings we kept up. I started with the company as an Apprentice Machinist, I was positioned as the 1st shift Macinist in three months. While in this position I was doing all the maintenance work on my equipment. The Plant Superintendant decided to give me the title of Maintenance Supervisor within three months of me working as machanic. Within six months I received the title of Maintenance Manager of the company. I was with the company until it was bought out and moved to Dallas TX. I resigned due to this issue.
