      Communicating and interpreting all information required to execute and test the mechanical works for the site construction teams, quality control teams, and commissioning teams and offer technical support whenever needed and coordinate with other departments (construction, QA/QC, procurement, planning, and engineering department) in technical issues of Powerhouse and Main Curved Gravity RCC Dam of the 2,115 MW 15.75/400 kV Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project in Tanzania (Rufiji River).The total catchment area of the Rufiji River is 188,000 km2 and is the biggest river in Tanzania. The annual average runoff is about 900 m3/s near Stiegler’s Gorge with a catchment area of 158,000 km2. The Julius Nyerere dam project site locates on the Rufiji River at a distance of about 56 km from Kisaki.The project includes a Curved RCC Dam, a powerhouse on the right bank, a spillway on the central valley, low and middle-level outlets on the non-overflow section of the dam, and a number of saddle dams on the long ridge to the South of the main dam where the existing ground level is lower than the PMF flood level.The powerhouse will be equipped with nine 235 MW, 15.75 kV vertical Francis turbine-generator units, and one 400 kV AIS substation (19 bays) on the left bank.

      -My ResponsibilityAs a Member of the Field Engineering Team working on the Balance of Plant (BOP) Systems and Piping of Thermal, Simple Cycle, Power Plant, my key responsibilities include:•Responsible for piping of module consist of Two gas turbines, Two HRSG, and One steam turbine.•Reviewing contract documents, technical specifications, piping document (isometric and P&ID) and other related codes, standards and verify the scope of work for different subcontractor.•Communicating and interpreting all information required to install and test piping to the site construction, quality control teams and commissioning teams and offer technical support whenever needed.•Coordinate with other departments (construction, QA/QC, procurement, and planning) and engineering department in technical issues.•Follow up for all activities (Piping & supports and skids) from the site and updating the progress according to the actual status.•Technical support for Construction & Engineering activities and introduce the solution by [Respond on Request for information (RFI) & Request for proposal (RFP)].•Piping drawing survey (Inches & Materials).•Review (As-built drawings) as per site modifications.•Sharing in preparing Test Packages.•Review subcontractor's Invoice according to previously prepared breakdown activities.•Issue Purchase request for engineered material on site, if required.•Review and approve subcontractors material submittal.•Highlight scope and /or design changes (data for claims).
