With four radio stations in the South Florida market, our cluster at Entercom reaches 2.5 million people per week. Ever since Vincent Viola took the helm of the franchise, the culture at the BB&T Center has changed drastically. As ticket sales associates, we are responsible for generating revenue for the franchise and filling the seats. About a year and half ago, our average crowd was around 4000 to 5000 people. Today, at least 15,000 attend on a standard night. We still have seats to fill and with a young and exciting product on the ice, we feel confident that attendance will continue to grow. Z Advertising gave me my first real taste of the advertising and marketing field. A boutique style agency, ZAG really takes pleasure in giving clients the attention and results they deserve. In my time there, I helped a lot with social media, content writing, translating, and much more. The boutique style agency is something I recommend to any intern because of the diverse nature of the work. It gives us as young employees an idea of what direction we want our careers to take. Westside Baptist Church League (4th and 5th graders)

Although I am not a coach, officiating these 4th and 5th graders forces us officials to become coaches. We are responsible for teaching the children the game, just as much as the coaches. This takes patience and a commanding presence. Every time I finish my shift, I leave with a great sense of giving back to the community. Officiating looks easy? Try being in a gym with a couple hundred fraternity kids yelling at you. One thing you learn through officiating is how to manage different attitudes on the court. You must also learn how to manage conflict in a calm and collected manner. Being confident with a big call on fraternity night could be related to emitting this same confidence in a job interview. What a great company! Nordstrom was my first retail job and what an experience it turned out to be. Working for commission inspired me to come in everyday with a goal in mind: sell. The friendly competition between employees is something that I loved about Nordstrom as well. I learned to build such strong relationships with my customers that they often came back looking for me the next time they came to stop. I was blessed to be a part of the Univision team in 2013 when we were announced as the top rated network according to Nielsen. I was assigned to "The Agency"​ also known as the promotions team. We were responsible for creating the promos for Univision's on-air content. I was able to help producers, editors, and more in many facets of "The Agency."​ Interning at Univision was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had. I really enjoyed being part of such a large and popular network in the Hispanic community. Show less
