I had the pleasure of working alongside Jessica as mentors of our own groups of 8 & 12 college students each (she had the bigger group). From what I observed, she is very intelligent, quick on her feet, and able to do every given task. There is no doubt that she can get the job done. In fact, she got even more done as she would always make sure to go out of her way to do things that were not assigned (planning lunches with her students, following-up more times than required, setting up mini-field trips etc.) The best thing about her however, is not her ability to do her job, but her humanistic qualities. She is kind, empathetic, genuine and 100% altruistic. It is no coincidence that her students were sad when the year-long program was up and they no longer qualified to be her mentees. But truth is, that they still are because she continues to keep in contact with them and help them with whatever they may need. She genuinely cares and if that's not a testament to how great she is, I don't know what is. Jessica is great! Any employer would be more than lucky to have her.
