Explored, designed, and modeled various carbon capture and sequestration methods for coal burning power plants, including monoethanolamine(MEA) absorption as well as algae based photobioreactors. Developed in depth cost analysis for MEA and algae based CCS. Performed research on benzene formation from acetylene on Pt, Pt-Sn, and Pd catalysts.
