  EIMS(Enterprise Information Management System) has been implemented as an Enterprise Architecture and the advantages that are associated. The EIMS implementation has clearly linked the whole of WRD in a common information change and the need of IT is being stressed by each and every decision maker at various levels. The EIMS is also going to enhance the IT Infrastructure of WRD and steps have already been taken to build the same with State Data Center to host EIMS applications. EIMS is a central repository that is web enabled and integrates some of the existing IT application of WRD and it has potential to link to the other enterprise software that the WRD may plan in the future.
