  I am currently employed as the Group Head - Materials at Triton Valves Limited in Bangalore, a 250 Cr firm with manufacturing facilities in Mysore that supplies products to major original equipment manufacturers and tyre companies in India. Triton has chosen backward integration in order to produce its own raw material (brass) by 2020. In 2021, Triton has branched itself into the HVAC product manufacturing market. I've been working here since 2006 as the Deputy Manager, and I'm in charge of purchasing for all three businesses. Non-Ferrous Raw Material Brass, Copper Scrap, Zinc, and Lead (Import & Domestic), Polymer Items, Chemicals, Bought Out Items, Consumables, Packing Materials, Engineering Spares, Contract Manufacturing, New Vendor Development, New Product Development, Subcontracting, Capital Expenditure and Project Buying, Import of New and Used Machines, and IATF 16949 Activities are all things I am now in charge of procuring. Throughout my time with Triton, I have had the opportunity to travel to a number of different countries for work-related activities like Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland.
