We prefer to syndicate with financial or other strategic investors, and we invest globally. Within Oil & Gas, we look at investing in technologies across the entire value chain. Areas of specific interests are: geophysical imaging technologies, drilling and wells (including in challenging environments such as arctic, oil sands, or deepwater), fracking, production and distribution, enhanced recovery, LNG/FLNG, and lubrication products. We also cover related fields such as big data management, materials & corrosion, and water. Lastly, we are also interested in future energy technologies with a particular interest in the following areas a) system integration including large-scale heat and power storage and cleaner gas technologies for residential power and heat, b) all aspects of clean hydrogen supply chain, and c) scaleable, renewable energy technologies with the potential to significantly reduce cost of energy, including fossil/renewable hybrid systems.
