Timothy Bradley
I worked with Ram directly for 3 years at Gryphon (a middle market private equity firm) where he helped execute and monitor LBO transactions. Ram demonstrated a strong work ethic in a high pressure environment and a very broad range of technical and social skills. In addition to the core role that would be expected of a sr. associate at a private equity firm, Ram also had very strong relationship building and consulting skills which he leveraged to great effect helping our portfolio companies grow and increase exit value through a number of strategic initiatives. When Ram expressed his desire to leave for business school, we asked him if he would consider staying an extra year to work in an operational capacity at one of our portfolio companies leveraging his consultative/strategic skills and we were very happy with his performance in that role as well. I was sad to lose him but wish him continued success and hope our paths cross in the future.
