Indian Operations consists of two manufacturing plants in Northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. Topline of Indian operations in 2010-11 Indian Rupees 9500 million (USD 190m). Polyplex is the 4th largest manufacturer of BOPET packaging films in the world. Also manufactures BOPP packaging films in India. Serving customers which are the leading FMCG companies through convertors and dealers, in India and countries in Middle East, Latin America, Africa and South Asia.

Joined in Marketing function and worked through various functions such as Marketing, PPC, Planning, TQM, HR, Projects and Strategic Planning at their Chemicals Business, Technical Textiles Business and Corporate Office. Headed a large Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project. During the initial years, associated closely with the Fluorochemicals Division (now merged into the larger Chemicals Business) as a Product Manager Marketing, and later heading the functions of Operations and Strategic Planning, and later TQM for the Chemicals Business. Later moved to the Corporate office and performed the roles of HR and TQM for various businesses. Headed an organisationwide restructuring exercise. Moved back into operations as National Sales Manager for Coated Fabrics, heading the All India Sales and Marketing for the Business. Later moved to Chemicals Business and headed the Clean Development Mechanism project and brought it to completion. The last role in SRF was as Vice President Corporate Planning in the Corporate Office steering the organisation through growth and diversification
