Examined Canada's relationship with emerging economies through further development of trade and investment partnerships. Primary research question asked: "What does it mean to be a global power in the 21st century?". The focus was on emerging markets with a specific look at Africa and the ECOWAS region. The lens of analysis came from a global political economy perspective. Collaborated with policy makers and academics on research and policy development initiatives. Policy briefs were written and presented in person to Global Affairs Canada.
