Ralph Melbourne is one of those few, exceptional people that simply impresses me with every interaction we have. He is a phenomenal, transformative leader. He is positive, tough, resilient, fun to be around, courageous, visionary, persistent, humble, fair, insightful, open, compassionate, courteous, charismatic... pick an adjective. Ralph and I worked together in a turn around situation where I began to joke that every three weeks the business was hit with another tidal wave so big that it completely rendered the to do list from the last tidal wave irrelevant. How did Ralph deal with that? He turned the bow of his ship into the waves and put the throttle down. And his people manned the decks, buttoned down the hatches, rode out the storm as a TEAM and transformed the company in almost every dimension while doing so. Ralph's stamina, and the dedication and cohesion of his team, was a beautiful thing to watch.
