The Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship, a former Governor's School, is a 4 week intensive program for a selected group of 76 high school students. Students are represented from 15 countries and 7 states. During the program students live in the dorms and participate in a schedule similar to a typical college student. The program features seminars in various business disciplines taught by current professionals practicing in their field and Lehigh professors. As a part of the mentor, I helped supervise the residence life aspect of the program through the planning of social events and discussions. As a mentor, I also supervised field trips including Walks on Wall Street, Bloomberg, the Federal Reserve, and a visit to Harrisburg. I mentored a team of 6 students through their first business consulting project on a city revitalization project for the township of Monessen, PA through Off-Grid Technologies, LLC. The Bridging the Gap Intercollegiate Conference at Lehigh University seeks to bring undergraduates of all colors together to discuss issues pertaining to the African Diaspora within the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) school system. Through discussions, panels, networking, and social gatherings, over students analyze issues affecting our community and explore solutions to undertake at their respective college campuses.
