During my time in Baringa I was part of a multiple projects in climate risk modelling and advising for the financial services sector.- Owned the creation of a physical risk tool deliverable and shaped the sector vulnerability analysis which fed into the final physical risk tool deliverable for a private equity firm.- Developed multiple models in Python which enabled the decision making around regulatory stress runs for a large UK bank.- Created a data model in Python for calculated future emissions projections for a large Australian bank along sectoral decarbonisation scenarios. Also modelled projections over time based on counterparties disclosed commitments for emissions reduction. I created a counterparty level analysis for over 100 individual counterparties, detailing their current emission disclosure and transition plans, to facilitate conversations about decarbonisation with their largest counterparties. For the second phase of that project, I collected data from various data sources and conducted detailed analysis to draw important conclusions from them. The result of this work was used to establish how Net Zero target setting would look for this institution.- Led a regulatory stress test model run for a large UK bank to determine the impact of climate change on the bank’s portfolio. This included developing tools for and analysing input data, working together with model owners and client team to ensure highest input data quality. In this role I got lot of exposure to Bulgarias NGO sector and got to see how a well established and connected NGO actually works. I had the opportunity to create a develop an application for a financing program under the guidance of the experienced leaders in BCause and while we did send the application in the end I got to understand how this process works and got some very valuable feedback. Furthermore I took part in a course on improving the fundraising capabilities of Bulgarian NGOs. I also assisted with writing descriptions for fundraising campaigns and articles. Show less

Together with an international team developed a demo for a fantasy online multiplayer game using Unreal Engine. I started in the project being responsible for implementing the online networking aspect of the game, but as the project progressed I familiarized myself with most of the moving parts and worked together with our project lead to implement new features, remove bugs and make stable builds.
