I was employed by Teksol Limited with the duties to prepare drawings for RIBA Stage 5 and 6. When Teksol started expending into a holding group my role changed to CAD manager, as I was tasked with creating extensive CAD standards, sets of CAD blocks and linetypes so that the future CAD operatives and other staff could easily access and communicate using the drawings in their database. This further developed my AutoCAD skills and management skills, as my goal was to create simple set of guidelines and information compiled into a manual which would allow staff to use AutoCAD correctly, even prior to the training that I will be delivering. CAD Technician

Temporary position in one of the top 150 building consultancies in the UK. Mainly responsible for large amount on CAD Drawings predominantly at RIBA Stage 3 and 4. Although this experience gave me an extensive insight to working with the range of public sector clients. My designs and technical drawings were covering an extensive spectrum of work, from moderate Primary School works throughout, University lecture theatres all the way to modular buildings and court rooms. It has been an honour to work with these professionals as it gave me a better insight into contractual matters, and contract/tender preparation and documentation. Show less
