Reporting directly to the CFO and working in close collaboration with the CEO, regional Heads of Department and Accounting teams, and global counterparts, this multifaceted role encompasses accounting and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, statutory and tax compliance, and treasury and cash management. Further responsibilities include: • Leading the Finance Team, overseeing financial accounting, managing the audit process and enabling corporate governance. • Coordinating daily accounting operations, supervising the team of four in preparing accounts payable and receivable, billing, and general ledgers, as well as reconciling accounts and preparing BAS, Income Tax Returns, and Fringe Benefit Tax returns. • Managing credit controls, cash collection and business liquidity, liaising with European banks and treasury teams to forecast and manage cash requirements and ensure compliance with corporate treasury policies and procedures. • Preparing and publishing local and group business forecasts, monthly financial statements and cash flow reports. • Providing management accounting support, particularly in the form of commercial and business advisory assistance. • Managing all audit and compliance matters, putting in place the necessary frameworks, procedures, and controls to manage records and information, supporting the CFO in managing risk relating to finance, accounting, tax and insurance. • Developing the annual budget, working collaboratively with the CFO to analyse expenditure, forecast business activities, calculate tax obligations, and review P&L and cash flow Show less
