As the Deputy Director, my responsibilities are as follows: - Develop and implement strategies and action plans according to programme objectives, business goals, curricular and extra-curricular developments and well-being of students and staff. - Manage curriculum matters including and not limited to programme's enrolment process, course selection and add-drop policies and procedures, academic results and reports, intakes and time-tables, and students' academic performance and disciplinary matters. - Plan and supervise internal and relevant external assessment matters including preparation and vetting of exam papers, invigilation and proper conduct of examinations. - Plan and oversee university application and placement matters for students' progression into tertiary studies. - Manage student sponsorship matters (internal and/or external funding) - Communicate and engage with students, parents, sponsors and relevant stakeholders on programme matters. - Prepare and manage quality assurance matters for audits and continuous improvement including and not limited to matters relating to Ministry of Education/Higher Education, MQA, MyQuest, and ISO. - Plan and coordinate resources according to annual budgets, staffing needs, technology support, and facilities. - Supervise and participate in marketing-related events like education fairs and school outreach projects and student-related events like assemblies, orientations, information sessions, community and special events.
