Air Cooler , Mixer & Grinder , Room Heater , Juicers Mixer & Grinder , Hand blender , Irons , Fans etc.• Cost & budget estimation for new tooling development.• Evaluate technical input parameters & Coordinate DFM (Design for manufacturing) for development of injection Moulds, press tools, die and fixtures.• Identify tool makers (Local and Overseas) based on cost, lead time and tool making capability. • Place RFQ (Request for quotation), RFP (Request for proposal) to shortlisted tool makers.• Vendor assessment and selection based on quality, cost, delivery and manufacturing capability. • Tool Cost finalization and approval for new tooling (Local & Overseas).• Follow-up and tracking of mould development schedule. Work closely with tool makers to resolve any Bottlenecks.• First part submission & tracking of new tool development & modifications• To develop prototype & mock-up samples for the development projects.• Performs Manufacturing efficiency improvements like Cycle time reduction, Machine optimization and part weight reduction.• Product process analysis for 3F (Feel, Fit & Finish) quality improvement and improved efficiency. • Coordinate with suppliers for corrective & preventive maintenance of Moulds/press tools.• Conducting supplier assessments for the asset capturing & inspection on the mould status.• Ensuring delivery of parts from suppliers and supporting supply chain in case of delivery issues• Supporting quality improvement initiatives to achieve line and field quality • ECN implementation by modification in Moulds & Dies.• Lead of the team of tool development specialists• Costing of the parts and optimizations.• Ensure that Moulds and tools are developed to meet the quality and project schedule.• Drive timely feedback to issues requested during production during the lifecycle of the tools• Handover the NPI project for Regular Manufacturing.
