Manage when and for how long content needs to be displayed. Manage the players remotely. Manage network connectivity between server and players. Retrieve logs from the signage display players. Display product information from POS application. Responsibilities: Designed the software. Implemented drag and drop feature in Layout designer module. Technologies used: C++, VC++, Visual Studio 2005(MFC), MySql 2)EMV & PBOC Kernel and application Development(May 2008 – Sep 2008) Team size: 5 Description: EMV is a standard for interoperation of IC cards and IC capable POS terminals, for authenticating credit and debit card payments. The sole purpose of EMV standard is to allow secure interoperation between EMV compliant IC cards and EMV compliant payment system terminal. . PBOC is a standard which is restricted to be used only in the banks of China. In this project, EMV complaint kernel (dll) and PBOC compliant kernel(dll) are developed for Pidion (WinCE) devices. Responsibilities: Designed and developed the Application selection and printing modules. Designed and developed GUI based application to use the above kernel. Teacher's module enables the teacher to plan, assign lessons and assess students according to different criteria. The student version enables the student to respond to queries. It runs in windows and Palm, Dana, Pocket PC handheld devices. Responsibilities: Leaded a team of 5 members. Solved complex technical problems. Represented team for all discussions with client. Prepared logic designs from specifications. Discussed and assisted team members in implementing the design. Designed and developed plug and play mechanism for the software Technologies used: C, C++, eVC++(Win CE), Code warrior 8.0, VC++ 6.0(Win32), Access database 2)Point of sell (April 2006 – August 2006) Team size: 5 Description: Point of Sell is an application that behaves like a custom browser with no tool bars or address bars etc. which is used for browsing DCS car selling. User can enter details of the vehicles, view reports from management centers and print them. All special keyboard functions have been disabled and USB locked. Once this software is installed, the system can be only used to run this software or the system has to be switched off. Special short-cut keys are provided to the administrator to log-off, close the application or to uninstall the software. This POS application was developed for Windows XP based systems. Responsibilities: Developed custom browser application. Implemented trapping and disabling of all special keys except Alt+Ctrl+Del using Windows Keyboard hooking mechanism.
