•Include Design, Procurement, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Operations of MEP works. • Calculate, review and improvement in design and engineering documents as per project/ client requirement.Attending the project review meetings and co-ordinate with Main Contractor & PMC. Responsible for designing the whole air conditioning systems including the Heat Load calculation (using HAP & Excel sheets) for different types of areas as per ASHRAE. • Preparation of Material Take Off's (MTO's) and Equipment/ Material Requisitions for HVAC • Designing and Drafting the ducts and chilled water system as per ASHRAE and SMACNA standards. • Preparation of Equipment/ Material Approval Requests and follow up on approvals with client. • Reviewing the quotations from the suppliers and preparing the LPO. • Supervise the works of sub-contractors Firefighting works as per NFPA standards • Implement Green House Standards and Codes to Increase efficiency of chilled-water plant so that pumps and cooling towers consume less energy, Reduce building materials, Reduce water pipe sizes, save cost and material. • Select systems that require less refrigerant charge to operate, Less refrigerant means less impact on the environment in case refrigerant leaks from the system (Use ASHRAE Standard 147 to minimize leakage or overall refrigerant emissions) • Calculate, review and improvement in design and engineering documents as per project/ client requirement • Detailed engineering including heat load calculations, system performance assessment, machine selection, duct routing, equipment data sheets, etc. • Heat load calculations (cooling loads, heating loads and airflow quantities) are based on the procedures outlined in ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook. In particular, the cooling load calculation procedure is the ASHRAE-endorsed transfer function method (TFM).Carrier E20-II - HAP 4.34 software program is used for load calculations. Show less
