Overall responsibility for the profitability and functioning of the Plascon Botswana busines. I was also tasked to recruit and appoint a new general manager, which I did in September.   Overall responsibility for the production, procurement (including imports) and technical functions as well as quality assurance, risk management, maintenance and management of exports. The company had its head office and main factory in Gaborone and a satellite factory/depot in Francistown (450km away). Responsible for training and developing Botswana citizens (localisation) to take over management of the production/technical, risk and procurement functions. I succeeded in fully localising the operations department by the end of 2008 and was transferred back to Plascon SA at the beginning of 2009.
