  Working on this Green Field project was nothing I expected to be doing in my earliest career. At first, I was taking care of documentation of the entire machining process of the Cylinder-Head line, which made me understand the process in detail. By six months in the company, I was taking care of the complete installation and commissioning of the Cylinder-Head line. I managed the installation and commissioning of Material Handling Equipment in 3C lines. As ten months passed, I was ME co-ordinator for Cylinder Head and Crankshaft lines. My job involved critical problem solving, quality analysis, root cause analysis, process definition and control. I completed and handed over the project to the Production and Maintenance by the end of 14 months. Show less

  Was an amazing experience at IIT Bombay. I learnt about OpenFOAM and Salome. OpenFOAM is an open-source toolbox which is very robust for CFD applications. This internship was conducted by MHRD to promote different FLOSS such as a blender, python, etc. The internship period was around 7 weeks. I enjoyed a lot, worked a lot and never going to forget this. Interested fellows can apply for next summer.   It was challenging to dismantle and reassemble the tractor components. I not only learnt the assembly of the sub-components but also learnt their working in detail. I got hands-on experience on how all cycles in the engine complement each other, the engagement in different types of gearboxes, various clutches, differentials, steering mechanisms, etc. Not only this but what problems are generally observed during service was the most important thing I learnt at this training.
