This was an invaluable conference that taught me so much about how the government works and how scientists are a part of that. A post-baccalaur program is on my radar as well as the Public Health Service. I learned that despite what you have your degree in, you can really do anything and be successful. "This seminar offers college women a valuable opportunity to hear firsthand from women scientists, leading health experts, medical researchers, and pharmaceutical representatives who shape our nation’s science and health agenda in this critical policy arena. Students will connect with senior women influencing the field from the public, nonprofit, and private sectors to gain an appreciation for how they have contributed to growth in the sciences.".
