The research responsibility areas increased from 2 "(IP)Mobility & Security and IP Applications" to 4 major research areas: (IP)Mobility & Future Internet, (IP & Telecom) Security, Wireless Access Networks and IP Signaling. - All of the areas become Internationally recognized and individuals were selected to represent Ericsson e.g. at IETF or 3GPP standardization. Specials: 2002: The highest ever measured employee satisfaction level at Ericsson Finland was at NomadicLab. The employee satisfaction remained at the same level the whole time I was leading the unit. According the surveys "the organizational efficiency was very high" and we had "NO efficiency barriers"!
