In one particular event I was part of a team of five that identified a potential £40k cost reduction.- Trained internally to use CAM software RADAN, which meant I was able to program parts to be manufactured in the plant on either a laser cutting machine or a punch machine. This gave me a good understanding of how various parts are manufactured and gained knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
