- Northern Linen BV is a trades company mainly focusing in trading PFD and dyed fabric of %100 linen and linen blends. It also has a sub division Northern Fabrics that deals with mainly trading PFD or greige fabric that does not contain linen, like viscose cotton and polyester content fabric. - My main role is to follow up the purchasing process which is to negotiate prices, to follow up orders, controlling production quality and ensuring timely delivery. - Due to my background experiences I am also engaged with styling and sales to find new articles, blends to add to our collection and inform the sales team with new developments in the sector. Although my official role in the company is with purchase department, I also work with sales team and build up new portfolios with my contacts in the sector where we managed to open new markets and customers to the company. - I am in charge of the sustainability program in the company where we serve our biggest customer with sustainable production. Sustainable production ensures all production stages from the flax to the dyeing facility to be traceable, ensuring high social and environmental standards in making the production of the fabric we deliver. - My hands-on character and hard work brought me many more responsibilities than my title. During pandemic period, with my negotiation skills I managed to balance relations with suppliers and ensure the continuity of business.

- Takawear is a boutique resort women’s label that I and my sister founded and then managed as a family. - I was responsible for leading the fabrics design team, planning and sourcing the fabric that were to be used on garments. I attented textiles fairs, made connections with new suppliers, negotiated the terms for buying and followed up the fabrics production with the suppliers. - I created a new buying and production strategy that enabled us to cut our fabrics costs around 30%. - I also implemented the new CRM system to the company that would enable us to track the stocks of fabric in the company which helped us to never run out of stock in production.

- Working with garment producers that were doing private label garment production to known European brands (eg. Adidas, H&M, Zara, Gerry Webber etc.). Our mission was to provide, desired quality on time and fabrics production for the target price. - At the same company we also made agency work for garment production to Dutch brands Dept and JC Rags as well as private label companies such as The Line, NED, Lobatto, The Joseph Company. We managed a wide variety production for both brands including denim to yarn dyed shirts, from heavy washed t-shirts to knitwear.
