I am lecturing Part 2 of a second year sociology course; 'Culture and Society in the 21st Century'. Based on my current PhD Research, I designed the course as a way to think through South Africa's long history of identity politics looking into the histories, roles and implications of race, culture and belonging. The course explores an array of issues including nationalism, transnationalism, and xenophobia. I am lecturing Part 2 of a second year sociology course; 'Culture and Society in the 21st Century'.
