For my role as SG of JOSOC, it was within my responsibility to ensure meetings are effectively organised and minuted. In addition, I have to maintain effective records and administration. For my role, I have to be fully attentive to meetings and keep updated notes on each one to brief members of the society when needed. Moreover, I have to always make it a priority to ensure smooth running and effective strategic contribution of the society. For this role, I had to be very active within student living in Southwell Hall. It was smog my responsibility to listen to their complaints and report them in order to ensure all students in the Hall live in a comfortable environment. In addition, it was also my responsibility to maintain knowledge of Hall Council policies and procedures and reflect them on students in the residency to ensure everything is running smoothly. Nevertheless, I had to attend weekly inter-hall council meetings to represent my hall’s views on issue or their opinions on coming events and so on. Looking at the fact that I had no subordinates (such as: VP, Secretary General, Treasurer, We’ll-Being Coordinator, Inclusion Coordinator etc.). I had to make it my responsibility to combine all these roles into my role and try my absolute best to make sure my Hall does not lack anything. Show less
