  Working in the car, marine, aviation and most recently plant industrieshas provided opportunity to improve my mechanical knowledge,encompassing repairs and component reconditioning of diesel, petroland gas fuelled engines. Alongside generator and compressor sets suchas Caterpillar, Deutz & Jenbacher to name a few.My role at Engine Engineering taught me to be flexible, applying myskills to the changing job demands whilst maintaining a high qualityservice.The ability to be flexible has worked to my advantage in my currentposition as a Scheduled Service Technician working for Encore Energycontracted to Infinis, as I have a workload that can change daily alteringmy planned jobs and requiring me to travel to different sites acrossEast Anglia making use of my clean driving licence.Not being in the mechanical or engineering field, working as amerchandiser concentrating on stock replenishment & rotation atWilkinsons was not my preferred choice of employment. However theexperience did expand my communication skills by allowing me tointeract with the general public, meeting a range of characters! Mytime at Wilkinsons has made me confident dealing with people, I havefound this skill transferable when dealing with colleagues and serviceusers throughout my working life.Working as a maintenance operative for KLM gave me an insight intoaviation, although this is an interesting field I did not feel the job madeuse of my existing skills. This confirmed that my career preference lieswith a more hands on role working with more involved projects; Encore Energy contracted to Infinis.
