Thaisla Borella
I worked with Rafaella in laboratory 222F in the microbiology sector at UFRGS, under the guidance of Dr Gertrudes Corção. She developed her course completion project and I developed my project, however we often shared the laboratory bench, we carried out activities related to bacterial cultures and antimicrobial tests, in addition to exchanging information. I had the opportunity to follow her development until the conclusion of her graduation, always being motivated and willing to learn, highlighting her skills in the field of microbiology.

Neste projeto era fornecido as empresas, na forma de prestação de serviços, metodologias padronizadas para análise de contaminação microbiana em ambiente e insumos de fábricas de ração animal e análise de produtos à base de mananoligossacarídeos. As principais atividades realizadas como rotina de laboratório eram: preparação de meios de cultura, recebimento de processamento de amostras, contagem de bactérias totais, fungos totais, enterobacterias, antibiograma, diluição seriada e autoclavagem de materiais contaminados. Pude acompanhar a Rafaella desde a sua chegada ao laboratório até a conclusão de sua graduação e destaco sua calma e motivação para atingir os objetivos propostos, muitas vezes encorajando a equipe.
