I was a General Manager in one of Fastenal's stores for more than 7 years. I had several operational responsibilities but the main one was to keep running the business at the highest level of efficiency. Fastenal is a public Company and our productivity is always measured using financial metrics. One of my biggest challenges was to operate the store in a way we make the most of our assets.
