I have conducted various studies focused on sensing using Fiber Bragg Gratting (FBG) filters : -Characterization of the optical fiber filter FBG as temperature and strain sensor . -Study and implementation of techniques of fiber metal coating: Sputtering and Electroplating. -Making magnetic field measurements using magnetostrictive materials (MetGlas and Terfenol-D) together with FBGs over fiber. I have worked on several projects related to the localization of neuronal activity due to different emotions. My role as a collaborator involved: - EEG Technician: Perform laboratory tests with volunteers. - Signal processing: Analysis of EEG signals obtained by using the systems: BitBrain and Emotiv. - Implementation of algorithms based on the ICA technique (Independent Component Analysis) for the removal of unwanted noise.
