We work collaboratively with a wide range of regulators, NGOs and food industry organisations, including, but not limited to, growers, bakery operations, confectionery manufacturers, drink and beverage producers, food retailers, food service and hospitality, food transporters, and food Manufacturers. By tailoring our offerings to the unique needs of each sector, we ensure that our clients receive training and support that is both relevant and impactful. As lead trainer at AsureQuality’s Academy, I participated in planning, developing, designing, delivering and assessing a variety of training courses and programmes delivered to food industry clients, academics, NGOs and government officials in New Zealand, Middle East and South East Asia. I participated in the development and delivery of the "AsureQuality Academy-Auditors", aimed at developing new auditors joining the team, and a National Certificate in Adult Education, supporting and further developing Asurequality`s team of trainers. I worked with AsureQuality Academy to ensure requirements for moderation, material reviews and content is at the highest level of competency and conducted trainer and product reviews for AsureQuality’s extended training team across varied industry sectors. I was lead trainer and subject mater expert in areas that included: ► Food Safety ► HACCP ► Auditing skills ► Food fraud prevention ► Food Defence ► Train the trainer ► Train the assessor ► National Certificate Level 4 in Adult Education and Training ► Workplace assessment (i.e. Advanced Auditing Skills, Unit Standards 8084, 8085, 8086) In addition, I have worked as an Advisor on international projects like developing risk-based inspection framework for the Ministry of Health in Qatar and as an approved AsureQuality auditor and Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) approved Food Control Plan verifier. I conduct external 3rd party audits against regulatory and customer based food safety and quality standards. Working for Burwater Pacific Group, I have enjoyed a variety of capacities as a food safety consultant, auditor, trainer, moderator and workplace assessor which have provided me with the opportunity to further understand the perspectives of the different parties in the food industry. Being a consultant, I have helped a variety of clients developing, implementing and monitoring their HACCP based Food Safety Programmes (FSP), improving their product quality, service standards and customer satisfaction which has positively impacted on their operations and profitability. As an auditor, I have conducted more than 70 food safety audits against regulatory and customer standard requirements. In addition, I have developed an automated (Tablet based) audit checklist and reporting system which has dramatically improved audit consistency and efficiency. Also, I had the privilege of having designed, developed, moderated and delivered training courses and workplace assessments (including Unit Standard based courses and NZQA quality assured qualifications) for up to a 1000 trainees. Whether for an audience of 2 or of 20, I seek to engage, motivate, and inspire with a unique blend of storytelling and humor. Show less
