Assessments Australia exists to give Australia’s human services industry the most assured, accountable and comprehensive information to better understand the needs of individuals and to support agencies to make the right decisions. This project was designed for Assessment Australia to collect information on behalf of the NDIA, so that they can use the data to better understand the overall experience of participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The key duties were as follows: • Outbound telephone calls to confirm appointments • Attendance at NDIA participants homes or facilities • Completion of assessments using a variety of disability severity scales and independence questions• Displaying compassion, understanding, empathy and respect • Delivering quality customer service to people with a disability and their nominees• Collection of sensitive information and input into specialized data tool • Quality review of data records to ensure meet compliance standards
