  Upon becoming the manger of Wayne FISH, a nonprofit food pantry that serves needy families in Huber Heights OH. I cooperated with the retiring manager in its move from one location to another. I recruited and supervised volunteer personnel, managed inventory, and coordinated with local school, governmental, religious and civic leaders. I wrote a grant resulting in the acquisition of an additional refrigeration unit. Previous to retiring because of my family's move, I led FISH in acquiring a larger donated space and reorganized the operation, turning the pantry over to the new manager as a more progressive nonprofit, better able to serve the community.   I am now retired from full-time ministry but I love working with couples and families when they face significant events in their lives. I love helping couples plan wedding and commitment ceremonies and can work with you in preparing a ceremony designed to reflect your personal wishes. As much as we do not like to think about it, we each will face a time when we need to plan end-of-life ceremonies. I believe a family needs to face these times with joy. My end-of-life services are designed to bring joy when we need it most. I led the church in developing the spiritual strength of the congregation, evidenced by an increase in membership and the purchase of a new facility for worship that was upgraded for handicapped accessibility.   My primary responsibilities were assisting the executive director manage the local YWCA program and facilities. We owned three buildings, one of which was almost 100 years old. Of all that I was responsible for, the maintenance and daily upkeep of this 7 story facility was primary. During my tenure, we conducted a building campaign to install new roofs on that mufti-level facility. During the campaign, I was maintained the campaign records. Following the campaign, I coordinated with the contractor assuring that progress was maintained with as little interruption to programming as possible. Show less
