Jente S.
I have enjoyed working with Rachel. The experience she has brought to Value Network has been very valuable. She has been an inspiring mentor for the volunteers and interns. She has been able to mentor them in a way that has benefited the interns in their experience and Value Network as a whole - we have improved our social media engagement and grown the community. She has also been an asset when strategising and discussing growth plans. She helped us with new event concepts like Startup Stories and is also our host for the series. She does that with a natural flair and talent. She knows how to make the interviewees feel at ease and engage listeners.

It's always rare to find people who can organise and structure marketing activities while simultaneously getting the creative juices flowing. Rachel is such "creative organiser". Engaging content? Events? (digital) campaigns? Rachel will always look for and find a "different" way to approach this creatively and then assure 100% perfect execution.

I mentor marketing volunteers and interns in the organisation to help them get the experiences and skills they want and need. Together we set out the strategy and processes and follow them up. Our goal is to enable knowledge sharing in the community, grow the community and increase engagement (at events and other initiatives). I work together with the other managers and CEO to constantly evaluate the company, see what improvements we can make, and how we can keep shaping the company for the future. Show less

Generate high-quality marketing content that drives traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. Build and manage a team of content marketers, designers, and a network of freelancers to contribute to Nodalview's story, optimise the buyer journey, and drive conversions. Put the team in touch with our audience regularly so everyone understands them and their needs. Focus on short, easy-to-consume content for awareness and international market expansion. I defined the new brand voice, did an internal launch, and implemented it on the new website we put live. I defined the content strategy and built a content production engine to tell Nodalview's story, laying the foundations for (continued) growth. A part of that was to set up a centralised translation process for the whole company and a ‘content factory’ - a place where all content could be found, filtered, and used. We also educated colleagues on how to use the content. Show less

Aiding in the overall international GTM strategy that focuses on 7 PODs. Determine the content strategy to support the GTM. Overseeing the execution and determining content for events, presentations, emails, website, articles, etc. At the start out worked intensely with the team (all remote) to boost confidence and considerably improved morale and motivation. Analysed the team and content to determine strengths, and areas of improvement. Set correct expectations internally (introduced a lead time overview) and setup growth plans for each team member. Working closely with DACH & SPLATAM sales teams as program manager to relay marketing information and results and work-out specific campaigns and actions for the regions to improve conversion rates and inbound leads. Initiated a extremely successful campaign for the DACH market with repurposed content. Overseeing product marketing, determining content based off product developments and roadmap. Re-evaluated USPs and gave persona’s more-depth. Working closely with growth marketing team to improve results of email campaigns, webinars and campaigns. Set-up a customer advocacy strategy and observe execution for a part and executing part of the plans myself as well. Established a close collaboration with PR agencies in our top two regions – UK and Germany, to determine and execute our PR strategy. Centralized & formalised translation process and collaboration with a network of copywriters and translators. Looked at ways to Increase the reach of our content and increase the use of content by sales (using Bynder as a content management platform). Working continually on thought leadership and improving SEO in 6 main languages. Determined content buckets, set-up content performance mapping, repurposing content. Launched an improved content hub experience and storytelling and branding with the team. Show less

Determined the marketing strategy for six brands (Xylos, Neo learning, Inia, Oase, Bagaar and Business Faculty), translated it into a plan and negotiated budget and oversaw the execution of the plans. Organised events and campaigns. We had yearly corporate-wide event based solely on company content and experts that attracted 150+ people each year. Rebranded the event to make it more of a lead generation event as opposed to relationship management event. Analysed results and ROI of the marketing events and campaigns. Initiated tracking of opportunities linked to marketing campaigns in CRM. Doubled the value of marketing opportunities in a year’s time. Built up a young team from 2 to 5. Enjoyed coaching an enthusiastic, creative and talented team. Improved my coaching and management skills on the job and through different trainings. Increased the impact of social media. Set-up a social advocacy program and gave several internal workshops to further increase engagement and interaction. Improved the visibility of Xylos and its brands and improved employer branding. Social media channels became one of the top 3 biggest sources for our websites and increased online conversions. The social media engagement grew from 1,15% to 2,38%. Expanded the content and video production to focus on inbound marketing. Made an overview of buyer persona’s together with sales. Optimised our mailings and had a consistent open rate of 20%. Built 2 new websites and updated the Xylos website with blog. Increased traffic to the Xylos website x7. Successfully set-up a new marketing automation system to handle lead scoring and generate MQLs. Worked with different technology partners and managed relations to ensure marketing development funding and increased the marketing budgets by 50%. Delivered POE and leads as ROI of campaigns. Worked with a PR agency to increase media visibility. Established a close relationship with an agency to aid with (online) marketing campaigns. Show less
