Provided cultural and linguistic expertise and conducted research to ensure exhibit concepts were culturally accurate and appropriate. "Race Against the Sun" features a modern-day marathon, Marathon des Sables (Marathon of the Sands) and female-only desert car race, Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc (Rally of the Gazelles), juxtaposed against the backdrop of the history of the Imazighen (Berber) people and the ancient survival techniques they have used in the Sahara desert.
