  I organized school supply donation drives for impoverished Vietnamese schools with lack of resources. I tutored Vietnamese students in English, and organized cultural heritage events. I worked with other leadership students to recruit members and fundraise for Vietnamese organizations in need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I wrote many pieces for national AAPI magazines including iamnotavirus.info with the intention of sharing my experience as a Chinese-Vietnamese student.

  As an English and History tutor at Del Norte High School, I am experienced in what makes effective communication. I am passionate about rhetoric, analysis, and in depth study of English. I tutor students and review essays, as well as help students with the drafting process. The WHAT Center works diligently to provide free English tutoring and seminars to students.
