As senior front-end web developer and designer, I was Rachelle’s supervisor and mentor during her co-op placement, at Bombardier Aerospace. We were very happy with Rachelle’s performance as she led development for two (2) consecutive web applications. On top of taking direction very well, she took ownership and initiative in her own skill development and problem solving. Which attests to her ability to continually adapt to the circumstances at hand and earn our trust in her to complete tasks with little need for redirection. At times we forgot she was a student and saw her as a part of our core team. She created wireframes and new feature mock-ups that adhered to our strict design guidelines, which showed her keen eye for design. As someone who worked closely with Rachelle, I am confident she will be able to adapt, and thrive, in a modern and fast-paced web development team.
