Key responsibility was managing the programme for older adults. I also established cultural programmes for example a heritage trip to Poland, Challah baking evenings and pop up restaurants. A series of political based talks looking at issues which may impact the local community. Shaped partnerships with London Jewish Forum offering Hustings prior to elections. Developed a series of outreach programmes in community members homes or Synagogues such as Memories in the Living Room, visiting Chef’s in your kitchen and talks. Initiated an HMD event and workshops with local primary schools. Working in partnership with the lay leadership of Redbridge JCC. Developed a research project with the community, sharing how they envisaged RJCC should adapt moving forward.
