Asylum Guides, Navigating Asylum Project Manager
-
Nov 2018 - Aug 2022
I project manage the Asylum Guide programme which focuses on increasing the legal literacy of people seeking asylum in the UK by introducing early enabling approaches to support. I work strategically with 6 organisations supporting people seeking asylum across the UK to embed early action into their services, set up and deliver Asylum Guides. I support, train and share best practice with partner organisations. We connect and collaborate to work towards this ambitious vision so that people seeking asylum in the UK can access justice and rebuild their lives. Through an agile approach, we are continuously developing a user-led digital programme of training and resources to reach a wide and diverse group of organisations, so more people seeking asylum have the choice to be supported by an Asylum Guide.
