  Provide case management for up to fifteen children and carers residing in Uniting Care West's Family Group Homes. The children residing in these homes had been removed from their primary caregivers due to abuse and neglect. This involved recruiting and interviewing prospective carers, providing supervision and support for carers pertaining the running of the home and care of children, ensuring that weekly meetings were held to discuss rosters, responsibilities and coordinated care between primary carers, support workers and respite workers. The role also required frequent networking and liaising with relevant stakeholders and organisations such as : DCP, doctors, teachers, community groups etc to provide the children with support and have their needs met.
