I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work alongside Fenwick's children's buying team and Women's accessories for a week in August 2017. This week allowed me to apply the knowledge I have learned throughout my University course to real-life situations while gaining more insight into how the world of buying works. I completed tasks such as; assessing stock intakes, monitoring sales and reducing prices were necessary, and creating tag and SKU numbers for products. This was a very valuable week where I gained knowledge and understanding that I couldn't in a classroom environment. Show less

In July 2014 I was given the opportunity to work for F&F girl's wear buying department. During this week I was able to shadow a assistant buyer- I observed meetings with suppliers and a sign off meeting with head and senior buyers. Within this week I was also able to use my skills in Excel by completing comp shops. This was a very valuable week that helped me decide what course I wanted to peruse at university.
