      My partner and I decided to take a year out of our careers to travel the world and get the "travel-bug" out of our system, so to speak.We started in Malaysia with a friends wedding and made our way up through Thailand and Vietnam for a month, enjoying the cuisine, beaches and hustle and bustle of Asia. From there we went to Cuba which was incredible and then on to Mexico where we began our ten month surf trip through central and south america. The final two months of our trip was spent visiting friends and family in Europe and surfing in Bali (while making the most of the tropical weather before returning to Christchurch mid- winter). This year has been a once and a lifetime opportunity. Learning Spanish, discovering new cultures and visiting vibrant and sometimes dangerous countries has been an experience we will never forget.
