  As an intern my primary function was assisting the development team. In general, tasks included:- Reviewing lab dyes from fabric mills and matching to existing warehouse fabric.- Creating or modifying existing technical sketches of garments.- Reviewing & editing completed specification packages, ensuring no information was missing.- Reviewing samples from contractors, measuring and reviewing measurements with regards to allowances. Noting all errors and preparing changes to spec sheet & emailing contractors with changes & updates.- Assisting with collection and arrangement of garments for review of line by management & buying team.- Assisting with arrangement of garments for sales meeting & presentation.- Assisting with merchandising shots of garments for buyer's catalogue.- Organization of fabric and supplier binders, cataloging of up to date sourcing information.
