Within the School of Business at UWB, I am the Faculty and Admin Coordinator. My specific areas of support include: Curriculum committee coordinator, faculty searches and general academic HR, promotion and tenure for faculty, event support for undergraduate and graduate programs, light fiscal duties (including Procard, My FD, and budget tracking for individual faculty spending and program spending), management of Writing Skills Assessment Testing for School of Business admission, undergraduate and graduate program support, supervision of student assistants, data entry and management, and general office support as assigned (including, but not limited to: purchasing supplies, distributing mail, serving as front desk lead, answering questions from students, faculty and the public, and supporting our administrator as building coordinator). I provide support to faculty, student services, and administrative processes through maintaining schedules and organizing meetings/minutes and general office duties. Lab Coordinator for the Penguin Sentinel Project

As the lab coordinator for the Penguin Sentinel Project, I performed a variety of tasks for the lead faculty reseacher and her research on Magellanic Penguins in Argentina and Galapagos penguins in the Galapagos Islands. I am the administrator and coordinator of the lab, keeping track of everyone's schedules, purchasing equipment and orchestrating plans for the field season, and educating donors and the public about the Penguin Sentinel Project's updates. I also help collect and enter the variety of data used in the Project, and work with students (undergraduate and graduate) on their respective projects and data entry. Show less

As a Wolves and Policy Intern at Conservation Northwest, I help Program Director Jasmine Minbashian with the wolf recovery program. I am currently researching the impacts of a public hunting season on gray wolves, and describing relevant policy recommendations based on those impacts for CNW and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to use when forming management policies for the species. I am also helping with other necessary research as needed. Finally, I hope to work on the outreach portion of the program, and offer education to a variety of stakeholders about gray wolf recovery and management in WA State. Show less
