Rachel managed me and 20 counselors during our time at the YMCA. Part of her job included ensuring compliance with state childcare licensing standards, and she was very, very dilligent with this task. She was a good personnel manager as well, helping resolve a few disputes between employees with minimal fallout, and was always patrolling and monitoring both the employees and the children to ensure their safety. Meticulous record keeping was part of her job as well, and her attention to detail made it so looking through her data was really quite simple thanks to her effective organization skills. It's hard to find people as organized and as exacting in their accountability as Rachel is. She was named Employee of the Year back in 2006 during only her second year working for the company.
