  Joined Blue Ocean Monitoring to assist in the development of the Metocean business line based in the UK as well as providing global support for autonomous platform projects utilising the company’s fleet of Teledyne Slocum Gliders and L3Harris Iver3 autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) Roles and responsibilities: o Tendering support for the EMEA region including proposal writing, cost model and commercial risk assessment completion as well as logistical and project site research o Group personnel and freight logistics including responsibility for company resumes, development and maintenance of the personnel certifications tracker o Standardisation and quality control of the entire Blue Ocean library of documents, developing missing documents where necessary working closely with the Group Operations Officer in order to prepare the company for ISO9001 accreditation. o Ongoing overall responsibility for the company document register and development and roll out of a series of reporting and document templates. o Group HSE support including setting up the software HSEQ Manager and quality control of incident reports o Project management of projects based in the EMEA region utilising the Blue Ocean fleet of Slocum Gliders and standard metocean equipment as well as sourcing other AUVs as required. Key projects include a CTD survey of the Haringvliet Estuary using an ecoSUB micro AUV, soundscaping of Galway Bay using a Slocum Glider and the cutting-edge development project demonstrating the potential of controlling a Slocum Glider from an unmanned surface vessel using USBL communications. o Development of a portfolio of metocean operational documents from scratch as the company diversified into a new metocean business line.
