Rachel is organised, driven passionate & fantastic to work with. I supplied Nutrition and Wellness Content and Videos as a part of the Wellbeing Warrior Team for the Wellbeing Express App that Rachel created. It's been a truly fantastic project to be apart of and I can't wait to see how many people are positively influenced by what Rachel and her Team of Wellbeing Warriors have created.

Working as an intern for Rachel at Distance Assistance has been a wonderful and invaluable learning experience for me. Working under Rachel's direct supervision, I can say that Rachel is a fun, supportive, helpful, and approachable manager/mentor. Her passion for well-being is brimming – especially when she tells her stories, you just can tell – and I think that shapes her managerial style; Rachel nurtures a safe space around the office which contributed a lot to my performance as well as other colleagues. I and other colleagues would never hesitate to ask her questions even to the smallest detail that might seem silly and she would answer the questions concisely, without any judgment. One of the many other things that I like from Rachel is that she knows how to balance between managing as well as giving autonomy, the good balance between the two really gave me the opportunity to grow and learn, on both professional and personal level. Rachel was very active in scheduling team meeting, not to manage or to tell me what to do to the little small cell that I have, but the team meeting served as an opportunity to clarify things, to update Rachel on the projects and get feedback from her, and to cross-share information and collaborate with everyone. As an intern, I was given access to an online check-in system, in which I had to jot down my progress and tasks that I have done on weekly basis. Rachel can look at them and she has never failed to write down feedback. Rachel is not only interested in the projects, but she is also interested in our personal growth; she gave me tips and advice which I thanked her for. Overall, Rachel is definitely an asset to have; she is an excellent team player, mentor, manager, and person.
