Rachel was the Course Director for Vitae's Leadership in Action programme at Essex University (July 2013). She has a rare combination of skills - a detailed sense of the task at hand; a strong vision that enables her to travel with her team towards a successful outcome; and a warm and authentic presence that ensures respect and a desire to engage from the individuals within her team. Thanks for including me as a Facilitator on your event - you were great to work with.

I am the proud Co-Founder of Resilient Leaders Elements (RLE). Alongside my business partner Dr Jeremy Mead, I created, developed and continue to be a raving fan and advocate of RLE and the RLDP™ – our cutting edge leadership assessment and development software. We believe anyone can be a resilient leader and pride ourselves on the diversity of our community of practice. It is made up of those established in leadership development and those just starting out; those at the beginning of their careers and those in retirement; we have business leaders, school leaders, entrepreneurs and academics. Amongst all this difference we have in common a passion for developing resilient leadership in ourselves and others. We build Resilient Leaders: Someone who knows where they are strong, their areas for development, what takes them from pressure to stress and how to rebalance. They have confidence in who they are and what they do, so that they create, build and take opportunities; bouncing back, knowing they will find a way through uncertainty, change and even crisis. We develop groups into Resilient Teams: Resilient teams achieve ‘Confident Uncertainty’: They build a foundation of trust, they know their strengths and weaknesses in good and bad times and how to support and challenge each other to make decisions that will achieve their shared goal. They have confidence they will find a way through the ‘fog’ of uncertainty. We grow Resilient Organisations that lead the way: Resilient Organisations create and take opportunities to achieve their vision. They anticipate and adapt to changing environments, equipping people with the capability and resources to lead in uncertainty. Their culture and communication enables rapid decision making, innovation, challenge and support. Show less
